Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys arrived in the New World in 1653 to educate the settlers and natives establishing a Culture of Love and Life. Her pioneering spirit and authentic love for the people manifested itself in the building of families and communities throughout Ville Marie.

Marguerite’s life was changed forever by the early influence of the gospel mystery of the Visitation – Mary and Elizabeth, two pregnant women, greeting each other in love and compassion. The Visitation became the way in which Marguerite would live out her life in the New World.

The Marguerite Bourgeoys Family Centre, FertilityCare™ Programme is a genuine expression of this mystery in the 21st Century.

The aim of the agency is to educate women, couples and youth in the authentic appreciation of sexuality, fertility, health care and family relationships. The couple is the focus for the education, health and spiritual care provided by the Practitioner, Medical Consultant, Clergy, Pharmacists and other health professionals. Women, couples and youth are educated in the dignity of the human person coming to an understanding of An Authentic Language of a Woman’s Health and Fertility”. The knowledge so acquired empowers and liberates them to live a wholesome existence in accord with moral values. Through this programme, teens are particularly benefited so as to withstand peer pressure.

Our sexuality and fertility are at the very core of our being. Every human person is made in the image and likeness of God, having the potential to co-create life and allow love to flourish. The Marguerite Bourgeoys Family Centre, FertilityCare™ Programme assists in the healing of the people and restoring them to that which God created them to be from the beginning.
